Overview

The animal imageology platform that provides technical support for researchers to explore transgenic animal models, especially focusing on the vivo differentiation of induced pluripotent stem cells, the distribution of chemical materials in the body, and the assessment of therapeutic interventions for various types of tumor diseases. The platform also features a rodent behavior recording and analysis system, which can be used for ethological evaluation to conduct pharmacological research on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, depression, behavioral evaluation of transgenic and gene knockout animal models, and behavioral research on novel animal resources.

Services

The animal imageology platform is equipped with a rodent observation recording and analysis system with multiple modules and two live imaging systems for small animals with highly sensitive CCDs, which can evaluate the internal structure and function  as well as external behaviors of mice. The total value of the equipment on the platform is 3.137 million RMB, The platform is also equipped with 2 technical support personnels and 2 engineers in order to ensure the normal operation.
