Research Areas

1. Establish database for single-cell sequencing data and develop new methods for epigenomic analysis.

2. Reveal epigenomics of diseases and tissue regeneration through multi-omics and bioinformatics.

3. Construct mathematical models of diseases and tissue regeneration in multiple dimensions, and conduct the stimulation and prediction.

Academic Performance
Dr. Wang is a principal investigator in Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health, CAS. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in bioinformatics from Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, CAS. Dr. Wang completed postdoctoral training in Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Wang focuses on epigenomics of diseases and tissue regeneration. Dr. Wang developed integrative analysis of multi-omics and regulatory network reconstruction, uncovered epigenomic regulations of retinal degeneration and regeneration, and partially realized retinal regeneration in mammals. Since 2016, Dr. Wang has published papers in Science, Nature Communications, Hepatology, Clinical Cancer Research, and so on.
