Delegates of “New Guangzhou New Opportunities 2013 Healthcare Complex Exposition” visits GIBH

Accompanied by officials from Guangzhou Development District and Health Bureau of Guangzhou Municipality, over 20 delegates of “New Guangzhou New Opportunities 2013 Healthcare Complex Exposition” visited GIBH on the afternoon of July 9^th. Deputy Director of GIBH Mr Xuerong Xing welcomed the guests.

Director Xing gave a detailed introduction to the guests on GIBH’s history, areas of research, talents recruitment and team building, research achievements, technology transfers as well as the ongoing collaborations with international institutions. The delegates praised GIBH’s achievements especially in technology transfers and building of internationalized platforms of scientific and technological research, and hoped to exploit the potential opportunity to collaborate in the future.

“New Guangzhou New Opportunities 2013 Healthcare Complex Exposition” which drew 44 billion in investment was the first healthcare-themed exhibition held in Guangzhou. It covers as many as 8 complex projects, including modern high-end medical service, customized healthcare service, high-end medical examination, healthy living as well as  Chinese medicine and sports recreations.
