Delegates from SAPA Visited GIBH

On June 25, Dr. SHI Li, Vice-president of SAPA, President of SAPA-Greater Philadelphia Chapter with two other delegates from the organization paid a visit to GIBH. 

The Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association (SAPA) is an independent, nonprofit and professional organization in the United States with well-organized Chinese heritage. The organization is committed to promoting pharmaceutical science and technology by facilitating scientific exchanges and networking opportunities. 

After communicating with the investigators of GIBH, Dr. Shi also gave a lecture on Gardasil, a kind of vaccine created by Merck to prevent cervical cancer. The vaccine was approved by FDA in the U.S. in July 2006. The lecture was warmly welcomed by the researchers and students at the institute.
