Medical Research Council visited GIBH

On Oct 27, 2005, representatives from the Center of Emerging Infectious Disease at the Medical Research Council (MRC) together with representatives from the Science and Technology Section from the British Consulate at Guangzhou visited GIBH.

MRC is the leading biomedical research institute in Great Britain. The Center of Emerging Infectious Disease at MRC seeks to establish new and consolidate existing collaborations on infectious diseases with research organization in China including GIBH. Dr. Ling Chen, Director General of GIBH, Dr. Xiaoping Chen, Center of Emerging Diseases, and Dr. Tao Peng, Center of Integrative Biology held discussion with representatives from MRC on the scope of infectious disease research at GIBH.
