Laboratory Animal Core

Laboratory Animal Core (LAC) was established in 2004 and received the "LAUC"（laboratory animal use certificate）issued by the Science & Technology department of Guangdong Province in 2005. 

The gross floor area expanded to 4688 ㎡, accommodating over 10,000 cages for mice and rats. The facility comprises four sets of barrier environmental facilities and one ABSL-2 laboratory capable of conducting infectious animal experiments on both mice and rats. It encompasses a diverse range of experimental animal species including rats, mice, guinea pigs, golden hamsters, rabbits, and zebrafish. 

We provide technical services for the scientific research, such as animal surrogate breeding model making surgery experiment operation, training of biological purification embryo operation, pathology technology, preclinical drug evaluation and testing of experimental animal quality etc.
