Stem Cell and Regeneration
We are dedicated to unraveling the processes that drive tissue regeneration, with a particular emphasis on organs like the liver and retina. Using model organisms like zebrafish and advanced technologies such as organoids, we explore how stem cells differentiate into fully functional cells. Our research leverages high-throughput sequencing and multiomics techniques to uncover the genetic and epigenetic regulators of regeneration. This work has important implications for treating diseases like liver fibrosis and retinal degeneration and aims to advance the field of regenerative medicine by translating our findings into potential therapies.
