Dr. Tang mainly uses the technical means of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology to discover active molecules and apply them to basic research in chemical biology and innovative drug discovery. His current research interests include: 1) drug discovery and development for diseases such as respiratory diseases and malignant tumors; 2) design, synthesis and application of bioactive tool molecules for study of protein-protein interaction; 3) synthetic strategy and process optimization of small molecule drugs.
